Lord Alan Sugar slams Trump: 'If I work for him, I want my P45'
UK Apprentice boss Sir Alan Sugar this morning distanced himself from Republican candidate and one-time US Apprentice boss Donald Trump.
When shown a video of Trump claiming that he was in some way Sir Alan's boss, the London-based tycoon laughed and said: "He has nothing at all to do with the British Apprentice, nothing at all to do with it. God Forbid. I would be looking for my P45. He's not in my class."
Responding to an allegation from Trump that he isn't wealthy enough to host the show,Lord Sugar said: "I once challenged him and said 'Look Donny, let's write a cheque out for £100 million and take it to the bank and see who gets paid'.
"He said to me 'if you've got £100 million laying around, you're not a good businessman."
