Is enough being done to help the Grenfell Tower victims?
This morning Environment Secretary Michael Gove was quizzed by Susanna Reid and Piers Morgan about the Government's response to the Grenfell Tower fire survivors.
In a heated exchange, Piers didn’t hold back and said not enough was being done to help the homeless in the wake of the disaster.
Mr Gove said every household affected will receive £500 in cash and a further £5,000 in their bank account to financially support themselves and their family.
Piers responded by saying: “Can I ask you Michael, if you’d lost your home, if it’d been burnt to the ground with every possession you had and I said, ‘Here’s 500 quid’ … you’d be outraged wouldn’t you?”
