Should men embrace their baldness?
As men age, they often don't admit to using hair treatments or wearing wigs to hide signs of balding, as there is a stigma against it.
Should balding men embrace their natural look, or is it okay for them to cover their bald spots?
Comedian Mike McClean and ex-footballer Ashley Ward discussed on Good Morning Britain.
Mike says he is happy to embrace his natural look and says it’s a part of life, however, admits it was an insecurity he had to overcome.
However, Ashley got a hair transplant once he spotted balding. He argues it’s okay to for men to take care of their appearance too, and disliking signs of ageing isn't exclusive to women.
This debate comes as MP Huw Merriman was filmed during Prime Minister’s Questions allegedly mocking fellow MP Michael Fabricant’s hair, stating: “it’s definitely a wig” to another MP.
Mr Fabricant has always been reluctant to discuss his hair in the media, but has spoken out against Mr Merriman’s comment, calling him ‘short-sighted’.
