A teacher in the US has made headlines after she tried to get to know her pupils better by asking them to complete the sentence 'I wish my teacher knew' in a writing task - and receiving some enlightening responses.
We asked a British teacher to try the same exercise and she too received information about her young pupils that ranged from humorous to heartbreaking.
