Harry Potter tickets selling for more than £6,000

Producers of Harry Potter And The Cursed Child have announced a clampdown on tickets purchased by resale sites, with some selling for over £6,000.

With many calling it the theatrical hit of the decade, with rave reviews and enormous demand, ticket touts have been taking advantage of the two-part show, with seats advertised for thousands on resale sites.

The chance to see Part Two alone of the play one night in March will set you back £6,221.38 on the Viagogo site.

As a result, 60 people have been turned away on show nights for having resold tickets. A refusal of entry letter is issued to these patrons, which entitles them to be able to contact the re-seller to get their money back.
