Should employers have the right to tell women to wear heels?

It's currently legal for companies to force women to wear heels in the workplace, even if they don't want to. One woman is speaking out with a petition calling on the Government for change and it's attracted over 66,000 signatures in just 48 hours.

UPDATE: Nicola's petition has now reached 100,000 signatures and will be considered for debate in Parliament.

When I pointed to a male colleague who was wearing flat shoes himself and said 'well he's not being sent home' ... I was just laughed at.

On average it takes just 1 hour and 6 minutes for women to start feeling the agony of wearing sky high heels with well-known long-term side effects.

They would never expect a man to wear heels but they expect women to do this every day.
