What's next for the Team GB athletes?

They need to be as driven now if they want to capitalise on their success

Rachel Anderson

After a triumphant medal haul at the Olympic Games, athletes like Andy Murray, Bradley Wiggins, Mo Farrah, Laura Trott have all gone up in value. Sports Agent Rachel Anderson warns that the world-class athletes need to be just as driven back on home soil and think about more than just type of gold. Rachel says that each athlete will need to think carefully about what’s next for their future.

Talking about golden couple Jason Kenny and Laura Trott, Rachel says: 'They should - in theory - be multimillionaires' if they play their cards right. She shares her top tips for the loved-up pair.

Rachel says that whilst the sporting superstars may now be some of the best in the world, they’re not competing every day and will need to carefully plan for when their time in the sport is gone and they have a ‘nest egg.’

‘It’s not like tennis or football where it’s every week. They need to keep themselves on the front and the back pages.’

Kate asks what multi-tasking Mum Jessica Ennis-Hill might decide to do next: will she keep competing or get involved sporting politics?
