(Kevin) Bacon for breakfast!
In general people are very, very nice to you when you’re well-known. They say things like, ‘I love you’ and if you can get an I love you like even once in the day isn’t that kind of a great thing?
Hollywood star Kevin Bacon has told Good Morning Britain that he once went out in a mask and disguise so he could experience not being famous.
When asked by Ben Shephard whether he liked the experience, the actor - best known for roles in Footloose, Apollo 13 and A Few Good Men - said: “I hated it. Nah, it’s better to be well-known. Because listen, everyone complains about it and says, ‘ah my life is so hard, people want autographs or selfies or whatever’ and truth is it’s 99% great because people give you free things, sneakers and stuff like that.”
Speaking about what it was like when he was in disguise, he said: “All of a sudden I realised what it was like to go to kind of just go through life and be strangely like invisible.”
Kevin, who is married to actress Kyra Segwick, also spoke about his music career and his new show I Love Dick which is on Amazon Prime Video.
