Former Paralympian David Clarke confident Rio Games will be amazing

Three-time Paralympian David Clarke, who was a Stadium torch bearer at London 2012, is confident that the Games in Rio will be amazing following a packed crowd at last night's opening ceremony in the iconic Maracana Stadium and a surge in ticket sales.

David, who competed in goalball at the 1996 Atlanta Paralympics and blind 5-a-side football at Beijing 2008 and London 2012, is anticipating a "remarkable festival of elite sport in Rio"

In an interview with Ben and Susanna, he shares his thoughts on last night's curtain raiser, memories of competing on home turf four years ago and reveals who he's looking forward to cheering on in Rio.

More than 4300 athletes from 159 nations, plus two refugees in an independent team, are competing in Rio
