Matt Terry: 'Honestly, I thought Saara had done it'
When I heard my name I was like, what?!
Matt Terry joined us in the studio this morning after winning The X Factor last night. Revealing how shocked he was to win he said: "honestly I thought Saara had done it - she's one of the most incredible people I've ever met." Matt received 48% of the public vote in comparison to Saara's 40% - a bigger gap than the EU Referendum!
When questioned by Piers he confessed to having received a few marriage proposals on twitter, and said that his newfound popularity with the ladies was lots of fun.
Matt also paid tribute to the bravery of One Direction's Louis Tomlinson, who sang at the live final only days after the death of his mother.
