Porridge

You can make your oats whichever way you like, with different types of milk and nuts available - plus a splash of rosewater if you really want to posh up your porridge!

(Serves 1)

Ingredients:

1 tsp of cinnamon30g porridge oats (you can use gluten free oats if you want)200ml water OR coconut milk OR coconut water1 tsp rosewater (optional)2 tbsp of crushed walnuts OR pistachio nuts OR almonds

Method:

  • Place the oats in a saucepan and with the water or milk or coconut milk or coconut water

  • Simmer for around 8 minutes until the oats are cooked (you can add some water if they look dry)

  • Stir in the rosewater and serve
