About Jonathan Swain
Jonathan has had a front row seat at some of the world's biggest stories.
During the Iraq conflict in 2003 he travelled across the desert with little more than a satellite phone and a box of 48 Snickers bars that he picked up at a Jordanian roadside stall. He went on to report from Baghdad during the period that Saddam Hussein was toppled from power.
Being a breakfast television correspondent thought isn't always about covering major events, there are many lighter moments. Jonathan has done a bungee jump live on air, skied in the Alps and even convinced Parisian's to taste test British beef on the Champs Elysees.
Before joining Good Morning Britain Jonathan was a correspondent for Daybreak and GMTV.
