British women hid in Bataclan cellar for hours
We were sitting there in darkness not knowing what was happening
Two British women survived the terrorist attack on the Bataclan Theatre in Paris on Friday by spending hours hiding in the cellar.
Gig-goers Christine Tudhope and Mariesha Jack managed to barricade themselves in the cellar where they were then trapped for the next three hours, hearing the atrocities play out above them.
The friends faced tough decisions of whether to stay put or to make a run for it, when the gunfire stopped.
They describe deciding to stay put in the cellar as, "the best decision we could have made."
