Which tier is your area in? Government confirms new restriction tiers
Matt Hancock told the House of Commons which tiers each area of England is going to be in once lockdown ends on 2 December.
The Health Secretary confirmed that most of the country will go into the two toughest levels of restrictions with Birmingham and Manchester in tier 3 - the harshest levels of restrictions.
London and Liverpool will be placed in Tier 2 of England's new system of COVID-19 restrictions, but Birmingham and Manchester will be in Tier 3.
South Yorkshire will be in tier 3 with just two locations, Cornwall and the Isle of Scilly, will be in tier 1.
