Turkey burgers
Here is a turkey burger recipe, with all the trimmings. This is a treat and you should only have this if you fancy a homemade takeaway.
(Serves 4)
Ingredients:
400g minced turkey (if possible organic)1 large red onion finely chopped4 cloves of garlic crushed1 small bunch of parsley finely chopped1 egg beaten1 tsp of turmeric
For added flavour add:
1 tsp of ground cumin OR1 tsp of ground coriander OR½ tsp of crushed chilli flakes ORleave it plain & just add a pinch of sea salt & a little black pepper
Method:
Mix all the ingredients together and divide into 4 burgers
Cook in the frying pan on a medium high heat for 4 minutes each side
Serve in a wholemeal bap with 2 slices of buffalo tomatoes and 2 or 3 pieces of lettuce
