The man who was trained to shoot to kill
It just so happened that on those three occasions I had to do what I was ultimately trained to do
As a poll by Good Morning Britain shows that 57 percent of people would like to see more armed police in the UK, we speak to former police marksman Tony Long, who has shot to kill three times in the interest of public safety.
Tony, who spent 33 years as a marksman, stood trial for the murder of Azelle Rodney who he killed in 2005 as the police foiled an attempted murder. He was cleared after ten years.
He told us how the high-octane aspect of the job attracted him as a teenager - but he was to find out that it's "not like the movies".
Watch him talk to Kate and Ranvir about being charged with murder and his personal view on whether more police officers should be armed.
