Tonight's Julie Etchingham reminisces about Theresa May's naughtiest moment reveal

ITV's Tonight programme has been uncovering scandals and getting scoops for the past twenty years. During that time, Tonight presenter, Julie Etchingham made history when she gained a candid insight into the personal life of Theresa May in 2017.

The ITV presenter playfully asked the Prime Minister to recall her naughtiest moment in childhood. Remarkably the PM answered: "Me and my friends, sort of used to run through the fields of wheat."

She added: "The farmers weren't too pleased about it."

Reminiscing about the moment on Good Morning Britain, Julie Etchingham explained: "It took on a life of its own really. There was something really charming about it because she was just very candid."

She added: "I just wondered when the naughty moments might have been. My honest reaction was what you saw."
