Selling Sunset’s Chrishell Stause Tangos her way onto the ‘Dancing With the Stars’ dance floor
Selling Sunset’s Chrishell Stause told today’s Good Morning Britain that some people “have left” and that the “brokerage has split”, while hinting a new series of the hit Netflix show will be announced soon.
Discussing the series and whether all of the cast get on in real life, she said: “I have to say, a lot of us get along so well, it’s like a dysfunctional family. There is some splintering happening in the group but that’s real life. I’m not going to sugar coat it. We’re not all friends, we don’t all get along. But we try to. Some people have left, the brokerage has split, if the cameras picked up now, there’s a lot to pick up on.”
She later added: “Season 4, they haven’t announced anything officially, but I think we’ll hear something very soon.”
Discussing moving on from her public divorce and joining Dancing with the Stars, she said: “Oh yeah, now I’m dancing - I’ve got pro dancers teaching me dance moves every day, I definitely don’t have anything to complain about. I can’t say I’m very good at it but I’m having a lot of fun trying.”
She added: “It was really tough, but that was a while ago and now we’re onwards and upwards!”
Discussing the property on the show she said: “I’m actually looking to buy. That’s something I think I will allow the cameras to come with me when I do that soon. Not on the scale that the show shows. These crazy $50, $70 million houses. Yes they are amazing, but that’s not really my style. If someone gave it to me I’d still sell it and get something that feels more like a home – a lot of times those homes feel like a mall to me. I like something that feels warm and cosy. It’s not my personal style but I love to sell them and make the commission.”
Of dancing on the US ballroom show she said: “I have to say, I was still wracked with nerves even without an audience. I’m hoping that’s going to subside a little bit... it still felt very nerve-wracking. That being said, I think the audience would make you feel better because they’re really cheering for you!”
And speaking of Strictly’s Bruno Tonioli judging her, she said: “Bruno is my favourite too – and then he let me have it. What he said was true but he didn’t hold back.”
Discussing losing her parents she said: “They would have been my biggest supporters. I feel my mum has given me some signs. She’d have been the first person who would have wanted me to do the show [Dancing with the Stars], which is really what made me want to do it. Life is short, and I want to make the most of it and that’s the lesson I’m taking from that. I know she’s with me as she’s giving me some little signs here and there which I really appreciate and it’s really special.”
