It was Movie Week on Strictly and Ranvir transformed into a Dreamgirl to perform the foxtrot to 'Love You I Do' from the hit film.

Speaking about the routine ahead of her performance, Ranvir said: "Rehearsals have been quite tough. But as always - I’m discovering now - you just have to push through when it’s really exhausting and Giovanni has to consistently, constantly repeat virtually the same things to me all the time.

"So we’re at the point now where I think I know what I need to do in order to get the dance looking right. It’s now the challenge of being able to remember the technique. We’ve had a bit of a laugh. We’ve been looking at the performance of it and the character because it’s movie week and I’m playing a Dreamgirl and I’m in love with my manager," she said.

Revealing how she felt about her first performance, Ranvir said: "So I’ve just come back to the dressing room because I’ve just been into the studio and had a run-through three times for the first time under the glitterball with all the lighting and the cameras and all of that. It was amazing but obviously quite scary, quite nerve-wracking, but it feels good to have done it three times now in the right place.

"It’s a big day on Saturday, I get to put the dress on and we go through it all again so yeah, I’m feeling excited actually about just getting the live show done and just dealing with the nerves as they come."
