Protests in North Carolina after police shoot man dead
Protests have broken out in The US city of Charlotte in North Carolina after police shot and killed a disabled African-American man.
Around a dozen police officers were injured in the riots and tear gas was released into the crowds.
Anger and chaos broke out on the streets after the shooting of the reportedly unarmed man, who witnesses say was sitting in his car unarmed.
Police have promised to investigate what happened.
