Pat Sharp reveals plans for Fun House theme park

Pat Sharp joined today’s Good Morning Britain as a crowdfunding campaign is launched to bring back 90s TV classic Fun House as a theme park.

Appearing alongside the original Fun House twins Melanie and Martina, Pat said he'd also love to see the cult classic return to our screens, telling Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard: “Ideally yeah, to be back on telly would be great.

"But first things first, we have been on telly, we thought we’d now make a live adult attraction for people who wanted to always be on the kids’ show but never could because there was only a few people on there. Now you can go along and you guys can play.”

As for whether the funding campaign will actually come to fruition, he said: “We thought it might be tricky but we’ve got a fair amount of money already – people seem keen on it and we’re hoping that it will go all the way and it will be a live attraction where people can not only play in the Fun House and drive the go-karts but then afterwards they can have a drink and there’ll be a DJ.”

As for whether Pat will grow back his trademark mullet hairstyle, he teased: “That’d be nice, thanks for that, Susanna.”
