Nicola Sturgeon: 'People have a right to change their mind'

First Minister of Scotland and SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon told today’s Good Morning Britain that people “have a right to change their mind” about Scottish independence. It comes as she says Scotland has been “dismissed by the Westminster system” during Brexit negotiations.

On whether there should be a second vote for Scottish independence Nicola said: “Democracy’s not a fixed point in time. Circumstances change and people have a right to change their mind."

She went on to say: "It would always be up to the people of Scotland whether they want to take that opportunity to be independent. But it is undeniable I think that since 2014 circumstances have changed quite significantly.”
