More children diagnosed with malnutrition
More and more children in Britain are being diagnosed with malnutrition because their parents mistakenly believe they have food allergies.
Research shows that entire food groups are needlessly being cut from children's diets.
A third of parents think their children have an allergy and are restricting their diet but in actual fact only one in twenty children have an allergy.
Jo Revill from the British Society of Immunology said: "Parents are not wrong to be worried" but to ask your GP or nurse for further advice.
