Ken Benbow and Kia Tobin's appearance on GMB was truly heartwarming
Ken Benbow, 94, and his carer Kia Tobin melted all of our hearts when they appeared on Good Morning Britain.
The pair went viral after Second World War veteran Ken was brought to tears by a gift Kia had so kindly arranged for him.
After losing his wife, who lived with him at the care home in Preston, Kia bought Ken a pillow with his wife's face on so he could still sleep close to her.
Ken immediately broke into tears after seeing his wife's face and he told Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid the story of the emotional moment.
Ken said he was truly touched by the incredible act of kindness from his 17-year-old carer.
"It was so touching. It was the most precious thing anyone could have wished for," the Second World War veteran said.
