John Barrowman goes Deaf for a Day

John Barrowman talks about going Deaf for a Day to experience how isolating this invisible disability can be and to help raise funds for Hearing Dogs, a charity for which he is an ambassador.

The Torchwood star had gel moulds inserted into his ears which simulate 50%-60% hearing loss.

Barrowman tells us what being Deaf for a Day taught him, and also discusses his new album You Raise Me Up that was funded by fans.
