Extra staff to deal with high passport demand
Despite saying there is no problem, the Home Office have announced they are laying on extra staff, as they deal with the highest demand for passports at this time of year.
Yesterday the Prime Minister said there were currently 300,000 extra applications than is normal.
We chat to Rita Blackstone, her daughter Sarah and grand daughter Ruby who are facing a race against time to get a passport for the four-year-old ahead of their holiday to Spain this weekend.
