GMB Today to air from next week in a two-week summer special

GMB Today, a two week summer special, will air from Monday 21 August from 8.30am on ITV.

The hour-long show will focus on showbiz and entertainment news featuring top celebrity guests, along with items on the day’s trending topics and talking points, as well as the biggest names from the world of sport.

GMB Today will air for a fortnight while Lorraine Kelly is on holiday and her set is given a makeover for her new series, which returns on 4th September.

From Monday to Wednesday, GMB Today will be presented by Jeremy Kyle and Kate Garraway before Richard Madeley joins Kate on Thursday 24 August and on Friday 25 August Charlotte Hawkins will join Richard while usual presenter Ben Shephard is on leave.

The following week Richard will present with Ranvir Singh from Monday 28 August to Wednesday 30 August and Ben will present with Ranvir on Thursday 31 August and Friday 1st September.

Richard Arnold and Ross King will also join the presenters sharing the latest showbiz news from here and in LA.

From Monday 28 August, Love Island winners Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies will cover for Richard presenting his usual entertainment slots throughout GMB and GMB Today.

Guests booked to appear on GMB Today include Hollywood actors Isla Fisher and Channing Tatum, EastEnders stars Jessie Wallace and Paul Bradley and The Durrells’ Josh O’Connor. Plus Chloe Madeley who, in a TV first, will be interviewed by her dad Richard!

There will also be a surprise guest to celebrate 30 years since the release of Dirty Dancing - one of the original cast members will be live in the studio - and coverage on the 20th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death.
