GMB presenters show off waistcoats in support of Croatia v England match

Tonight sees the biggest match of the millennium so far, when England takes on Croatia in the semi-finals of the World Cup.

The Good Morning Britain team appeared in full force, sporting waistcoats to honour England manager Gareth Southgate and his legendary waistcoat. Piers Morgan explained: “Southgate has got everyone wearing waistcoats. This is it! Come on Gareth! Come on Harry! We can do this.”

Susanna Reid warmly added: “He's such a hero. He melts everyone’s heart.” While Charlotte Hawkins explained how the whole crew were backing the waistcoat craze.

The ‘It’s Coming Home’ themed waistcoat went viral after phone company Huawei dreamt up a Photoshop design on Gareth Southgate’s now famous M&S waistcoat. The dream became a reality when the two brands teamed up to make the waistcoat design in real life.

With footie fever in full swing, GMB also headed over to Croatia where Susanna and Piers greeted Good Morning Croatia.

Piers appeared slightly unnerved upon meeting his Croatian presenter counterpart, adding that it was 'like watching himself in Croatia'. Although, it’s hard to imagine that there could be more than one Piers on the planet!
