Ebola thought to have infected Spanish nurse 'outside of Africa'

Ebola may no longer be contained to west Africa after a Spanish nurse tested positive for the deadly virus, it has emerged.

The nurse had cared for a priest who was repatriated to Madrid with Ebola last month.

Emergency protocols were put into place after tests for the virus, which can lead to internal bleeding, came back positive.

We speak to virologist Dr Ben Neuman, virologist at the University of Reading, to find out how the nurse and the people she has come into contact with will be cared for, and if this means a raised threat for the UK.
