'We sing karaoke': Dennis Rodman on his friendship with Kim Jong Un
I've never seen anyone in my life have that much power
Basketball star Dennis Rodman spoke to today’s Good Morning Britain of his friendship with North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un, which he says involves karaoke sessions, ski trips and a lot of laugher.
He told Piers and Susanna: "I basically hang out with him all the time, we laugh, we sing karaoke, we do a lot of cool things together. We ride horses, we hang out, we go skiing, we hardly ever talk politics and that’s the good thing about that.”
When challenged about Jong Un's leadership, Dennis insisted he doesn't get into politics and instead thinks about bringing people together through sports.

Speaking of the likelihood of the North Korean leader having a mutual conversation with President Donald Trump, Dennis said: "I’ve got to hope. I’ve got to hope that the fact that we can actually try to come have some type of happy medium around the world, especially here in America."
On the kind of person the controversial world figure is, he told us: "He's always laughing, smiling, talking to his people."
"I've never seen anyone in my life have that much power."
However, not everyone is as keen to spend time with Jong Un, according to Dennis who said he invited a former president to visit him - but was declined.
"Obama shut me down," he told Piers and Susanna.
