Colin Thackery’s isolation message
Former Britain’s Got Talent champion Colin Thackery joined Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid on Good Morning Britain to urge people to take the coronavirus pandemic seriously and stay at home.
Having just turned 90, the war veteran gave us his thoughts on the current war on Covid-19 and his delight at becoming an ambassador for Dame Vera Lynn's Children's Charity.
Colin is working with the charity and will be performing at a concert later on in the year alongside the D-Day Darlings.
The charity supports under 5s with cerebral palsy and other motor learning impairments. The parents and children work together in a supportive environment to improve a child’s physical, social and emotional skills.
