'What the hell is going on with your party?' - we question UKIP's Bill Etheridge
It's rather peculiar
MEP Bill Etheridge joined Susanna and Piers to discuss Diane James' shocking decision to step down as UKIP leader after only 18 days.
Nigel Farage's successor said in a statement that her reasons for resigning are based on the party's ineffectiveness in supporting her. Etheridge however does not agree and told us he feels he and his colleagues were "ready to support Diane in whatever she wanted to do".
Although the party has appeared to be unstable recently, Etheridge is still confident in its abilities, telling us: "[Ukip] can be very, very effective. And we will be".
And would he go for leadership of the party again? He told us he "wouldn't rule [it] out".
Watch the video above as Piers and Susanna also question him about his controversial past behaviour, including stating his admiration of Adolf Hitler's speaking abilities and posing in photos with Golliwogs.
