Baked apple

If you're hankering for something sweet, don't give in to unhealthy sugar-laden desserts like chocolate and puds - instead give this more natural treat a go.

(Serves 1)

Ingredients:

1 cooking apple1 tsp of raisins4 walnuts or any nut you like½ teaspoon honey

Method:

  • Heat the oven to 170”C

  • Core and score around the middle of the apple

  • Stuff the cavity with the raisins, nuts and honey

  • Place on a baking tray and cook for 35 mins

  • Serve sprinkled with cinnamon and a tablespoon of Greek yogurt
