The rise in alcohol-related deaths

One in ten people have told Good Morning Britain they've blacked out from alcohol in the past year, with a similar number saying they may have a drinking problem.

More than 23,000 people died from alcohol-related illness last year - that's over 60 a day. And the latest figures show men are twice as likely to die from drinking than women.

We were given rare access to an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting to hear how addiction can take over people's lives.

Plus, we hear from former Coronation Street star Kevin Kennedy, who himself battled with alcohol addiction, and Dr Ash Khan - a consultant psychiatrist on the board of Alcoholics Anonymous.
