Speaking to the media on Monday afternoon, Chris Coleman denied that Williams dislocated his shoulder and confirmed that he expects his captain to be able to take the field at Stade Pierre Mauroy in Lille.

We think it was when he fell which had an impact on his shoulder. It’s a bit bruised and swollen but he’ll be ok. > > > "He probably won’t train for another day or two, we know we need to look after him, but I would be surprised if he didn’t make the game. > > > "You have to have faith in your captain and I have unlimited faith in him. All players want to play at the top level and against the best teams and Ash is no different. > >
