Teasing Roy gives photographers the slip
Roy Hodgson enjoyed teasing the assembled press pack during England's latest open training session, in apparent reference to Ray Lewington's clipboard giveaway.
Days after his assistant accidentally offered photographers a few crumbs of insight on how England might line-up against Russia, Hodgson refused to name names.
Instead he held up a blank piece of paper while grinning for the snappers.
The joke may have been on the England boss, though, as elsewhere it appears at least one source within the England camp was happy to divulge the starting line-up to the assembled media.
All the squad trained at their base in Chantilly ahead of the trip south to Marseille where they will open their Group B campaign on Saturday, live on ITV.
Hodgson spoke to captain Wayne Rooney and Jack Wilshere during the session as he made final preparations for the match, in which Adam Lallana and Raheem Sterling are expected to start at the expense of James Milner and Jamie Vardy.
