Slovakia coach puts pressure on young England
Slovakia coach Jan Kozak has questioned how England's youngsters will handle the pressure of being favourites to win their Euro 2016 group.
Kozak's side make their European Championship debut against Wales in Bordeaux on Sunday, just hours before England play their first Group B game against Russia in Marseille.
"The top favourite (in the group) is England because they have a large squad of very good quality players," said Kozak, who played for Czechoslovakia at the 1980 European Championship.
"But this is a tournament and the pressure is on their young players. I am curious how they react to that pressure. I think it will be even between the rest of us because Wales, Slovakia and Russia all has quality. It depends on the day because I do not see much difference between these teams."Kozak described Wales danger man Gareth Bale as "one of the best players in the world".
But he was giving little away when he was asked how he would combat the Real Madrid forward.
Kozak, however, said he had plenty of information on Bale as he had watched him in action for his club all season.
"He is a top player, and not just for Wales," said Kozak. "He is one of the best players in the world, he's in great form and physically he's very fit. I'm a Real Madrid fan and I watch every game. But Wales is not just about Gareth Bale, it's a team game and they have other top players who play in top English teams."
