Dier relishing potential Portugal reunion

Eric Dier says he would relish a clash between England and adopted homeland Portugal in the Euro 2016 last 16.
England's failure to top Group B means they will face the runners-up of Group F in Nice on Monday, with Hungary, Iceland, Austria and Portugal all possibilities.
Dier spent his formative years in Portugal, refining his skills in Sporting's academy before joining Tottenham in the summer of 2014, and admits he finds the possibility of facing some of his youth teammates a tantalising one.

We'll just wait and see. Obviously that game has a lot of history I think in the Euros with England, so it'll be interesting. > > > "I grew up with quite a few of them that are playing for them now. > > > "I grew up with William Carvalho, Joao Mario, Rui Patricio the goalkeeper, who I played with him for Sporting, and Adrien Silva. > > > "Andre Gomes I played against for all the youth teams, so I know quite a few of them. > >
