Gloomy Jimmy, thinking it’s Nicola, ignores a phone call from school. Elsewhere sulky Nicola struggles to accept responsibility for what’s happened, however she’s pulled out of her self-pity after receiving a phone call from school informing her Elliot’s gone missing. Nicola’s relieved to quickly find Elliot outside on the street and she questions his behaviour and the pair share a moment where she promises to still be his mum no matter what happens. Having found her fight again, Nicola heads over to resolve things with Jimmy.Feeling worthless Dawn storms out of the Woolpack, followed by a troubled Ryan. Ryan tries to comfort a crying Dawn, and encourages her to do whatever makes her happy and fight for what she wants. A scheming Dawn distracts the social worker and takes a photo of Lucas’s files, focussing on the address. Furious Aaron bursts into Mill Cottage to find Liv and Jacob cuddled up. Aaron throws Jacob out to Liv's horror. Cain is relieved when Kerry tells him he can have access to Kyle. Jacob and Maya are sharing a moment when Aaron interrupts them and it soon becomes clear that Maya stitched him up. Furious, Jacob tells Maya to stay away from him, leaving her crushed. Arriving back at Holdgate, Jai witnesses a bailiff trying to repossess Manpreet's car. Jai is left conflicted when she urges him not to tell Rishi. After daring to hope the police investigation is over, Cain is rattled to find the police searching Butlers. When he refuses to join them at the station, the police arrest him.
