Picture preview: Donna does a runner! (16-20 Jun)

Alarmed by the series of messages she makes her excuses, covering that she has been called into work and abruptly heads off to meet Ross.

At the Christening, Donna's distracted by her phone beeping - yet another text from Ross.

On seeing Ross’ bruised face her worries are heightened and panics, realising Ross has hurt George. Anxious, Donna tells him to keep his head down whilst she finds out how much damage they've done. She goes to the crime scene under the pretence of being on a shopping trip...

...and is horrified to see what Ross has done!

Donna tells Ross she's going to the hospital to find out about George. Ross tells her to stay calm and act normal but it's clear he's as worried as she is.

At the hospital, she's shocked to discover George might not regain consciousness. Later, Donna struggles with her guilt when George’s wife Beatrice tells her they need to catch whoever did this.

Back home, Donna ushers April to pack, determined to flee the situation.

But as Donna tries to say some surreptitious goodbyes, an alarmed Ross overhears and cottons on.

Will Ross stop Donna in her tracks?
