Victoria helps Betty go through the plans for Alan's funeral, and asks Ashley to officiate the funeral - it's what Alan wanted. But Jude's spoken to bishop and he doesn't think it will happen.

It's the day of the funeral and, after putting pressure on Jude to lie about being ill, Ashley takes Alan's funeral service. The villagers all head out for the services and a procession of motorbikes arrives...

As everyonemakes their way to the church, a car with tinted windows pulls up...

...and a familiar face exits the vehicle. It's Steph!

Alan's daughter Steph makes a surprise return for the funeral, handcuffed to a prison guard. Her appearance in the Village makes Victoria even more stressed as she tries to hold the funeral together....

Alan's given a heartfelt send off and later at Home Farm the wake commences. But with Steph back in the Village, will everything remain calm?
