ITV Once Again Opens The Doors To The Corrie & Emmerdale Sets!

Following on from the huge success of the previous years’ Emmerdale and CoronationStreet set tours and related activities, ITV Studios has today announced a new season of behind-the-scenes fun for fans as it reopens the doors to both shows bringing unforgettable visitor experiences across 2024.

With both Productions filming almost two feature films a week each, the weekends bring the time to stop and open the doors to give soap fans from all over the world an immersive treat as they step into the ‘real world’ where the shows are filmed. With set changes and the occasional top secret storyline ‘spoiler’ no two tours are ever the same either giving visitors the occasional unpredictable plot twist visit or sight of something brand new before it hits the nation’s screens.

Last year’s fantastic reaction to ‘Star Tours’ (by visitors and the cast themselves!) bringsmore dates for fans to meet their favourite cast members whilst wandering the cobbles of‘Corrie’ or the lanes of Emmerdale Village.

Alongside tours, at the Coronation Street Experience, the team are planning plenty moreexciting activities and events including special cinema screenings and after the sell outintroductory screening event ‘An Evening with Todd Boyce, more ‘Evening with….’ fun willfollow throughout the year.

Last year the Coronation Street Experience was unveiled including cafe, cinema andexhibition floor which continues to allow fans to experience that little bit of extra ‘telly’ magic from getting up close to legendary props and costumes, or sitting in the Replica Roy’s Rolls before a photo behind the replica ‘Rovers’’ bar after a walk around the real live set.

Over in Emmerdale this year you will join your tour by coach from the beautiful HarewoodHouse estate, home to the UK’s most famous village which is hidden deep within itsgrounds. Arriving at the village guests will continue to experience fan favourites including awander by The Woolpack, a nosy at David’s Shop and of course a walk through the world’sonly permanent ‘fake graveyard’!

Guest David commented “It’s such a brilliant experience from start to finish. My wife is a massive Corrie fan, she had the best time and so did I!!! Rory, our tour guide was exceptional, full of expertise, humour and knowledge and made the experience all the better. Would 100% recommend this tour to Corrie lovers and those who aren’t.”

Juliet, an Emmerdale guest said “Did the Emmerdale tour on Sunday, brilliant day from start to finish. Our tour guide was Sue, she was very informative with a great sense of humour, friendly and chatty and nothing was too much trouble for her. It was exciting to walk round the village, see all the houses and find out what goes on inside them. There were plenty of photo opportunities as you weren’t rushed round and had time to ask questions.”

Bookings are now open for both experiences, full details are below. Details of additional‘super soap’ events will be released throughout 2024.
