Fever Pitch: Corrie V Emmerdale
Opening day of ITV's Fever Pitch saw Emmerdale cast members take part in a beach football match against some of the Coronation Street lot. Check out our highlights.
The sun was blazing down in Manchester at the ITV Fever Pitch fan park.
Thousands of fans made their way to the old Granada Studios to relax on the 'beach', feel the sand between their toes and watch Coronation Street and Emmerdale put their skills to the test (with a little help from the England beach football team, of course).
Although we had lots of fun and got a brilliant tan in the process, The Cobbles came out the victors with a final score of 3-0. Till next time, Corrie!
