Alicia Metcalfe

Alicia landed in the village like a thunderbolt and she has never shied from the limelight since. Her arrival with her son Jacob to Emmerdale turned her sister Leyla’s life upside down as Jacob is secretly Leyla’s son.

Although Leyla has now left the village, Alicia and Jacob have stayed as they have made strong friendships there. Alicia is loud, outspoken and dresses to kill..despite her modest budget. Her spontaneous, protective mother instincts have previously got her into scrapes, (including a jail stint for hitting Val) but she is a thoroughly decent, hardworking, driven single mum. Alicia would love to settle down and is a key role in Emmerdale ‘s Rom-com triangle with David, and Priya.
