Coronation Street wins two NTAs

Coronation Street had a fantastic night at the National Television Awards, winning the prestigious title of best 'Serial Drama' and 'Serial Drama Performance'.

Julie Hesmondhalgh was awarded 'Serial Drama Performance' for her portrayal of Hayley Cropper. She shared the stage with fellow nominee David Neilson, who plays Roy.
