Welch returns to BTCC at Snetterton
Dan Welch is to make his Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship return at Snetterton this weekend.
The Hampshire driver, who has raced in the Porsche Carrera Cup since leaving the BTCC at the end of the 2016 season, replaces Jake Hill at Team HARD.
Hill left the team after the last round of the championship at Croft, citing the poor performance of the car. He has subsequently tested for MG, setting the third-fastest time on the second day of the Snetterton tyre test.
Welch, whose best result in the BTCC came at the Norfolk circuit in 2012, will race with car number 17.
