Goff pulls out of BTCC campaign
Jack Goff has announced he is withdrawing from the 2022 British Touring Car Championship. The 31-year-old made the announcement on social media, saying he told his team of the decision last month.
"A month ago I had to make the hardest decision after the Donington Park test and inform Team HARD that I will be stepping away from the BTCC this season," he wrote.
"This has been the hardest decision for me, but I hope to be back in the future. Thank you to all my loyal fans for the support."
Goff, who won the Renault Clio Cup in 2012 made his BTCC debut nine years ago, and has spent much of his touring car career with Team HARD. He took the team's first win in the category in 2019, and last season took the Cupra Leon to its first podium finish.
