Driver profile: Josh Cook

23 year old Josh lives in Bath, and has a degree in Motor Sport Engineering from the University of Bath
He started karting at the age of ten, and won the NKRA national title in 2001
His circuit racing debut came in the Sax Max Championship at the age of 14. He raced in Sax Max for three seasons, with a best finish of third in the championship in 2008
After a year away from racing in 2009, he made his debut in the Clio Cup in 2010, entering six rounds and claiming his first podium finish.
His first full season of Clios was 2012, winning two races, with two further podium finishes. He was crowned rookie champion that season.
He consolidated that success in 2013, finishing fifth overall, and adding another win and four more podium finishes to his tally
Last season he was runner-up in the Clio Cup , with six race victories.
Josh has been selected for the BRDC's Rising Star scheme.
