Andrew Jordan: Career History

Following the news that Andrew Jordan has joined WSR to race a BMW in the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship for the next two years, we take a look at his career so far.

  • SEAT Cupra Championship - Jordan did a part season in this championship in 2006, dominated by Mat Jackson. His best race finish was eighth at Brands Hatch

  • Renault Clio Cup - After a handful of races in 2006, Jordan raced a full season of the Clio Cup in 2007, finishing twelfth overall.

  • BTCC 2008 (EuroTech) - Teaming up with his father in a pair of Honda Integras, Andrew took two podium finishes.

  • BTCC 2009 (VX Racing) - A move to the works Vauxhall team saw him take his first BTCC pole position, making him the youngest ever drive to start at the front. His highest finish was second.

  • BTCC 2010 (Pirtek) - His first BTCC victory came at Croft, and he repeated the feat at the end of the season at Brands Hatch

  • BTCC 2011 (Pirtek) - Another race victory and his best championship finish of his career so far, with sixth in the final standings.

  • BTCC 2012 (Pirtek) - Staying at Pritek, Jordan picked up another win and eight more podium finishes,

  • BTCC 2013 (Pirtek) - Jordan's best season to date, taking six race wins on his way to the BTCC Drivers' Championship

  • BTCC 2014 (Pirtek) - His final season at the family-run Pirtek team. Jordan took four more race wins, but a disappointing second half of the season meant he only finished fifth in the championship.

  • BTCC 2015 (MG) - A move to the works MG team alongside Jack Goff provided a winless season, but consistency meant fifth in the title race.

  • BTCC 2016 (Motorbase) - A switch to Motorbase for 2016 brought winning ways back, with two race victories and the Independent Drivers' title.
