Kyle Tomlinson was "terrified" to perform for David again!
Kyle Tomlinson has revealed that he was “terrified” when it came to performing in front of his biggest critic, David Walliams, again at his Audition.
Despite landing the final Golden Buzzer of the series, with David making amends for previously turning him down, Kyle added that he was “more nervous” this time around as he was desperate to impress the fab four.
Speaking of performing for David and Co, the 15-year old recalled: “I was terrified! Just simply because he turned me down last time, so I felt like I really had to impress him and the Judges more than ever.”
As for David pressing the Golden Buzzer, Kyle noted: “I thought, ‘Is he serious?’ I didn’t know what to do. I saw my mum and dad run onto the stage and thought, ‘This is going to change my life forever’.
“It’s mental to think that out of the millions, I’m one of the five that have got the Golden Buzzer. Wow!”
With Kyle confessing that BGT legend Susan Boyle inspired him to apply for the show, he teased that you can expect “more emotion” and “bigger vocals” from his Semi-Final performance.
If he was to win this year's series, Kyle said it would be “an honour” for him to sing at the Royal Variety Performance, concluding: “I’d take my nana and granddad. For them to see me perform in front of the Royal Family would make their life!” Awww...
